Amber Oakley
Solicitor
I understand that the legal process can be very daunting so I aim to put clients at ease, whilst advising and assisting throughout a very stressful and highly personal time in their lives. My clients describe me as empathetic, understanding, supportive and honest. I endeavour to make the law understandable and relevant when advising, whilst empowering clients during difficult times. I recognise that all clients’ needs are different, and I will work to achieve the best outcome for your particular circumstances.
- Children issues arising from relationship breakdown
- Child contact and living arrangements
- UK and international relocation
- Assisting grandparents in contact disputes
- International child abduction
- Divorce
- Marital finances
Experience and qualifications
I have worked exclusively in family law since 2012 and qualified as a specialist family lawyer in July 2022, having cross converted from being a Chartered Legal Executive. I maintain both qualifications and am therefore a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, as well as a member of the Solicitors Regulation Authority.
I have acted for clients in cases that have been heard in the Royal Courts of Justice in relation to international child abduction matters.
I represent clients from all backgrounds, from across the UK in family law matters.
What I do when I'm not being a lawyer
I love to spend time with my family and friends, travel, curl up with a good book and eat good food, with a nice glass of gin, or rosé wine.
